| O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar o efeito da utilização do bioestimulante Stimulate® em plantas de pimentão enxertadas e não enxertadas, em ambiente protegido, no aumento de produção. Utilizou-se o delineamento experimental de blocos casualizados, no esquema fatorial 2 x 6, referente a plantas enxertadas e pé-franco e seis doses do Stimulate® (0; 75; 100; 125; 150 e 175 mL p.c. 100 L H2O-1), com quatro repetições. Realizaram-se sete aplicações foliares, quinzenais, do bioestimulante a partir do início do florescimento das plantas e avaliou-se o número total de frutos comerciais produzidos, comprimento, calibre, espessura de parede, massa média e produtividade final, totalizando treze colheitas. | ABSTRACT The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of the isolated and combined foliar application of boron, calcium, and the plant growth regulator Stimulate on fruit yield and gas exchange in bell peppers. The evaluated treatments were boron, calcium, Stimulate, boron + calcium, boron + Stimulate, calcium + Stimulate, boron + calcium + Stimulate, and control (water). The study was performed in complete randomized block design with three replicates. | The influence of gibberellic acid (GA3) and water regime was evaluated in the flowering induction and quality of two orchid hybrids belonging to the genera Cattleya (C.) and Brassocattleya (Bc.). The experiment was carried out in the Biotechnology and Orchid Culture Sector of Shunji Nishimura Technology Foundation, Pompéia, São Paulo State, Brazil. Five GA3 concentrations (0, 125, 250, 500 and 1,000 mg L-1) were tested through four consecutive leaf applications in adult plants that had already flowered at least once, besides two water conditions (one and four irrigations per week). | One of the most important applications of plant tissue culture is mass propagation of ornamental plants. This experiment evaluated the effect of different concentrations of NH4NO3 and KNO3 and BAP on the in vitro growth of orchid hybrid Brassocattleya 'Pastoral'. Seedlings of this orchid hybrid were used as explants and cultivated in medium with mineral salts and vitamins from the MS medium (Murashige & Skoog, 1962), with the macronutrients P, Ca and Mg reduced by half, and with an addition of 25 g L-1 of sucrose, 0.1 g L-1 of myo-inositol and 1.5 g L-1 of activated charcoal. | A alta perecibilidade da cebola tem limitado seu período de conservação e proporcionado altas perdas pós-colheita. A necessidade em se consumir produtos frescos tem levado o mercado de produtos minimamente processados a um grande aumento.
